Export a monthly summary report

Audience: All users (SME) Time: 1 minute

Need a monthly report for your accountant? envoice can export one month of your e-invoices as an Excel file with the totals worked out for you, not just the raw list.

1. Open Documents

Click Documents in the top navigation. Your list of e-invoices appears.

The Documents page with the month picker and Monthly report button

2. Pick the month

On the top right, use the month picker (it defaults to the current month) and choose the month you want the report for. You can go back up to 12 months.

3. Click Monthly report

Click Monthly report. An Excel file downloads: <your business>-monthly-report-<month>.xlsx.

4. What is inside the file

The workbook has two sheets:

  • Summary shows the month at a glance: total documents, subtotal, tax and total; how many e-invoices were filed (Validated); and breakdowns by status, by document type, and consolidated vs individual. If you billed in more than one currency that month, each currency is totalled in its own block.
  • Details gives one row per document, with the buyer, buyer TIN, amounts, payment type (Cash, Bank Transfer, e-Wallet, and so on), status, and the LHDN UUID.

Report vs raw export

  • Monthly report gives you the summary totals plus the details, ideal to hand to an accountant.
  • Export all (the button next to it) gives only the raw invoice rows for the current view, no totals.
