Audience: Shop owner (Admin) Time: 10 minutes
The envoice plugin, envoice - LHDN e-Invoice for WooCommerce, files e-invoices for your WooCommerce orders from your WordPress admin. It needs WordPress 6.2 or later, PHP 7.4 or later, and WooCommerce installed and active.
1. Install the plugin
- Get the plugin zip from envoice support ([email protected]).
- In WordPress, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, choose the zip and click Install Now, then Activate.
Until the store is connected, WordPress shows a notice: "Connect your store to envoice to file e-invoices. Open settings."
2. Connect your envoice shop
- Go to WooCommerce > LHDN e-Invoice.
- Under Connection, click Connect to envoice.
- A window titled Connect your WooCommerce store opens on envoice.my. Sign in, or create a free account first.
- Choose the shop to link and connect. The window shows "Connected to" your shop and closes by itself; the plugin finishes setup on its own.
The settings page now shows Connected, Linked to your shop, your plan and how many documents you have used this period. A Sandbox label shows while your envoice shop is not yet filing to LHDN. To go live, see Start in the demo shop and go live.
3. Choose your settings

- Submission mode: Individual e-invoice per order, or Record for monthly consolidated e-invoice (B2C).
- Skip non-MYR orders: do not auto-submit foreign currency orders; submit them by hand instead.
- Minimum order total: only auto-submit orders at or above this amount. Leave empty for all orders.
- Auto credit notes: file an LHDN credit note when a refund is created (individual mode only).
Checkout and emails
- Buyer TIN at checkout: show optional "Request e-invoice" fields (TIN and registration number) at checkout.
- QR in customer emails: add the LHDN validation link to order emails once the e-invoice is validated.
- Attach receipt PDF: attach the e-invoice receipt PDF to the completed-order email.
Click Save settings.
4. File orders by hand
Open an order in WooCommerce > Orders. The LHDN e-Invoice box on the order shows its status and actions:
- Submit e-invoice (envoice) or Record for consolidation (envoice)
- View QR, Receipt PDF and WhatsApp once validated
- Resubmit after a failure, and Refresh for the latest status
- File credit note for a refund, and Cancel e-invoice within LHDN's 72-hour window (cancel any credit note first)
You can also select several orders in the orders list and use the bulk action to submit them. envoice reports how many were filed and how many were skipped or failed.
Disconnect
Click Disconnect in WooCommerce > LHDN e-Invoice. Filed e-invoices stay in your envoice account.
