Manage your product catalog

Audience: Shop owner / accountant Time: 3 minutes

Your catalog stores the items you sell, each with its LHDN classification and tax settings, so invoicing is one click instead of retyping every time.

1. Open the catalog

Open Catalog from the top nav. Each product shows its SKU, name, unit, price, classification (LHDN code), tax type, and rate.

2. Search and organise

  • Search by SKU or name to find an item fast.
  • Use the Categories sidebar to group products; click + Add category to create one.
  • Edit updates a product; Archive hides it without deleting (find it under the Archived tab).

Categories sidebar

3. Add products

Click + New product.

New product button

Fill SKU, name, unit, price, classification, tax type, and rate. You can add multiple rows, or drop a CSV/Excel file to import in bulk.

For a bulk import, click Download template to get the right columns. Fill the category column to group products: a category your shop does not have yet is created when you save, and the review list marks it (new category). In the catalog, each product's category shows under its name.

4. Let AI fill the classification

Click Auto-classify: envoice reads each product name and fills the correct LHDN classification (and unit). High-confidence items are set automatically; uncertain ones default to 022 (Others) with one-click suggestions you can pick. You can always override, and envoice learns your choices for next time.

Auto-classify

AI can make mistakes. Always review the classification before saving. Auto-classify is a helper, not a replacement for your judgement; you're responsible for the codes on your e-invoices.

Set the right classification + tax type once per product. Every invoice line then carries the correct LHDN codes automatically, preventing validation rejections.
