Get your LHDN MyInvois API credentials
Audience: Shop owner (Admin) Time: 10 minutes You'll need: a MyTax account with access to your company's tax profile.
To submit e-invoices, envoice connects to LHDN's MyInvois system on your behalf. For that you register envoice as an "ERP system" in MyInvois and copy two things: a Client ID and a Client Secret. This is a one-time setup.
1. Open MyInvois in MyTax
Log in to MyTax, then click MyInvois in the top menu.
2. Go to Representatives → ERP, and Register ERP
In MyInvois, open Representatives, select the ERP tab, then click Register ERP (top right).
3. Fill in the ERP details
- ERP Name , a friendly name so you recognise it later, e.g.
envoice. - Client Secret expiration , choose a duration (e.g. 1 Year). Note the date , you'll need to regenerate before it expires.
- Leave Primary ERP System unticked unless this is your only/main system.
Click Register.
4. Copy your Client ID and Client Secret
MyInvois now shows your Client ID and Client Secret (Secret 1 and Secret 2).
Important: the secret is shown only once. Copy it somewhere safe immediately , LHDN cannot show it again. If you lose it, you must regenerate.
Use Client Secret 1. Tick I confirm I have copied & saved the Client Secrets, then click Done.
You now have your Client ID and Client Secret. That's all you need from MyInvois , enter them into envoice next.
